Scent Work Training Course
Dogs experience the world through their noses. Scentwork is a fun and rewarding activity that encourages dogs to use their natural sniffing abilities to search for and locate specific scents hidden in a variety of environments.
In our scentwork classes, dogs learn to confidently search for a target scent while developing focus, problem-solving skills, and independence. Searches can take place in boxes, rooms, outdoor areas, vehicles, and other everyday settings, creating a stimulating and enjoyable challenge for both dog and handler.
Scentwork is suitable for dogs of all ages, breeds, and abilities. Whether you have a young dog full of energy, a senior dog looking for gentle mental stimulation, or a reactive or nervous dog who may not enjoy busy group activities, scent work provides an engaging outlet that can be tailored to each individual dog.

Most importantly, scentwork gives dogs the opportunity to do what they love most—sniff. Watching your dog solve scent puzzles and celebrate their successes is incredibly rewarding, and many owners are amazed at just how capable their dogs are when given the chance to use their nose.
No previous experience is necessary, and all dogs are welcome. Our classes focus on building skills in a positive, supportive environment where both dogs and handlers can learn, progress, and have fun together.
Please note that courses are not suitable for reactive dogs. If you have a reactive dog and would like to do some scent training we can do this with a 1-2-1 session. Please enquire using the 1-2-1 scent training form at the bottom of this page.

Scent Work Training Group Classes
The scent work training class course consists of 5 sessions:
- The first session is an online zoom session.
- Sessions 2 -5 take place in the location detailed within each booking as a class environment with 3 other dogs.

Scent Training 1-2-1 Course
If you would prefer to learn scent training through 1-2-1 sessions we are more than happy to arrange this.
I offer the full Scent training course over five 1-2-1 sessions to anyone who prefer a more individual approach. This is suitable for reactive, nervous or dogs who prefer their own space.
