Hi I'm Danielle, I have grown up around dogs all of my life of different breeds from Border Collies, Jack Russells, English Bull Terriers, Staffies, Greyhounds and everything in between. So, I have always had an interest in understanding dogs, how they communicate and the bond and relationship we quickly form with them.Then as a family we adopted two Trailhounds from a rescue centre. We had previously rescued another Trailhound and fell in love with the breed. However, these two were not plain sailing by any means! They had never been in a home environment before, they were reactive, they were very nervous and they had no training whatsoever! This is where my passion really started…

I did what most people do and started Googling and watching videos on the internet and quickly realised, you very quickly go down a rabbit hole of conflicting advice.During lockdown in Covid I used my time to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Training, Welfare and Behaviour. I really enjoyed the deep dive into giving a wider understanding of how dogs think and learn. I then got offered a job working for Dogs Trust Dog School Manchester West as a Dog School Coach. This has been the best experience to get hands on experience to help owners train a wide range of breeds of different dogs, but most importantly see the progression of the bond and relationships between owners and their dogs. I have delivered puppy/adolescent/adult and rescue classes, reactive dog courses, 121’s for confidence building, attention seeking, focus, recall, reactivity and much more. Also, workshops in loose lead walking, recall and trick training. During this time, I have also delivered CPD to vet practices and delivered online webinars for Dogs and Children Living Safely together. I have also achieved Level 2 Customer Service Accreditation and have completed theory, oral and practical assessments to be a member of The APDT.I have started my own dog training business to continue something I love which is to deliver fun and friendly dog training classes to empower dogs and their owners to live their best lives together, by using force-free, ethical and science-based methods.If you have any questions at all feel free to contact me.
